12 internationally acclaimed locally based artists across 12 site-specific installations set within a 5-block walkable radius (W Pico Blvd, S Hope St, W 11th St, S Olive St, S Broadway). Artist line-up includes: Refik Anadol, Nancy Baker Cahill, Sarah Rara, Luciana Abait, Akiko Yamashita, Carole Kim, David Van Eyssen, Leah Smithson, Nate Mohler, Ryan P Griffin, Mark Hashimoto, and Elizabeth Leister.
Commissioned for LUMINEX 3.0, this collection of posters was created to capture the spirit of one of Downtown Los Angeles' most immersive public art festivals. Held every two years, LUMINEX transforms the city's streets and architecture into a monumental canvas through large-scale digital projections, light installations, and live performances.
The visual identity explores the physical and metaphorical transformation of urban spaces through light, movement, and layered perspectives. Inspired by the ephemeral nature of the festival, the graphics evoke rhythm, flow, and immersion, reflecting the way familiar cityscapes become temporary environments for art, discovery, and shared experience.
